The Economics Department offers three Combined degree programs:
B.A./M.A. in Economics and Optional Advanced Certificate
In this program, undergraduate students with a sufficient GPA can earn a B.A./M.A. degree in 4.5- 5 years. Withing this program, students also have the option of earning an Advanced Certificate in Applied Economics. Students interested in this program should consult the Director of Undergraduate Studies in Economics as early as possible in their college careers and apply no later than during their junior year. B.A./M.S. Combined Degree Program in Economics
In this program, undergraduate students with a sufficient GPA can earn a B.A./M.S. degree in 5 years. Students interested in this program should consult the Director of Undergraduate Studies in Economics as early as possible in their college careers and apply no later than during their junior year. Joint Five-Year B.A. Economics / M.B.A. Program
The Department of Economics, in-conjunction with the School of Management, offers a five-year program leading to a joint Bachelors degree in Economics/Masters degree in Business Administration. This is one degree, not a B.A. plus and M.B.A The joint degree program reduces by one year the time usually needed to acquire separate four-year undergraduate degrees and two-year M.B.A degrees.
