I'm Accepted, Now What? International Students

You should begin by confirming whether or not you wish to accept our admission offer. This can be done by e-mailing the Assistant Director of the M.A. Program or by returning your admissions letter.
Defer your enrollment? There are times when students (for various reasons) can not attend the semester they initially applied for. If you fall into this category and wish to defer your admission to the following semester, please notify the Assistant Director of the M.A. Program as soon as possible. You need not re-apply for admission, but if you are going to have to resubmit some application materials.
Once you've accepted our admission:
Receiving your Admissions Packet
You will receive your admissions packet with a list of instructions from International Admissions. If you haven't received your packet or if you have VISA questions, you should contact International Admissions.

Orientations
There are two orientations that are given: International Orientation and Economics Orientation. International Orientation is arranged by the International Student and Scholar Services and you will be contacted by them directly.
Economics Orientation is arranged by the Assistant Director of the M.A. Program. This is a mandatory meeting for all incoming economics Masters students. During this meeting, we will review the program; introduce various faculty, staff, and current students; sign students up for computer access;and assist students registering for classes.
Register for Classes
You cannot register for classes until you have completed International Orientation. During Economics orientation, you will be able to register for classes with the assistance of the Assistant Director of the M.A. Program and current student ambassadors. You will not be able to register for classes before then.
After you attend the Immigration Session of International Orientation, you can register for courses. Please see this webpage for information:
